Today I am taking a mental trip to a warm and snowless place.
The Outer Banks are a string of barrier islands off the coast of North Carolina. There are herds of wild horses that roam the northern islands. Bodie, Hatteras, Roanoke and Oracoke are the main islands. Kitty Hawk, where the Wright brothers first flew their plane, is located on the Outer Banks.
