My Mom and I bought some of these Thanksgiving plates at Home Goods last year, I love them. I have some salad plates and a serving plate. I wonder if I could find a serving bowl to go with them....

cabin-exposed beams

I saw these first two pictures on Chic Coles where they talked about the exposed beams. It got me to thinking, exposed beams are perfect for cabins. So I googled.



While I was googling another thought came to me, shelves rather than cabinets. For a cabin, I think they would work.



Exposed beams, I love the use of this room (minus the heart rugs).

This came up with exposed beams but what I really loved was the door and the bedspread.

friday night lights

Have you ever seen Friday Night Lights? My husband and I started watching it about two weeks ago on Netflix and I am obsessed. I am sad that they are showing their last season right now. It is a new favorite in our house.

subway station

I saw an article on Yahoo! on a subway station in NYC that is no longer used but they have changed the routes so you can at least see it now. It is gorgeous, I wish I would have known about this three months ago...
